TRADING PLACES
In a
few weeks Sandy and I will move out of a 1600 SF single family home and into 300 SF of wheel estate. But first we have to finish the chore of downsizing. That means getting rid of stuff we no longer need or want and holding the final (Hallelujah) garage sale.
Sandwiched among these tasks is a happy event. Our daughter, Jennifer, is getting married to a fine young man on June 27.
The closing on our house is July 16 and a few days before that we will move lock, stock and barrel to a new RV parking pad in Cary, IL.
We hope to take to the open road around September 4.
Be sure come back in September for more rollicking good posts from the Stoltzes in the right lane.

Stock up on batteries for your camera ~ I'm hoping for photos with each blog! What a great adventure ~ and I can't wait to follow along online.
ReplyDeleteI can just --barely-- remember the days that I was having to Endure that long, long wait George. I can tell you no matter how long it may seem--it will NEVER happen again and before you know it you will be saying/thinking the same thing I'm saying to you now--with someone else! Yes, that was five and one half years ago this coming Monday that I bid farewell to my 1286 square foot stick house and drove away without ever looking back taking me wherever the road lead! You will be amazed at all the sites that are waiting for you and all the fun you have never imagined. All I can say is, I hope that you will find the time to share your experiences and photos with your FAN club and the hundreds of "new" friends that you will meet in the coming weeks, months and years.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the wonderful free world of travel and just remember that if for some reason you don't like your neighbor, you now can pull up stakes and 20 minutes later go find yourself a better neighbor!

Congratulations on beginning a new life, a new blog and discovering the little things that are more important than the big things of days gone by.
